Shift: Nights 4 days x 12 hours
Schedule: 4 days/week
Expected Hours: 48 hours per week
Note: We have an option for 36 hours/Week as well. Pay for that: $2950 - $3050/Week
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit. The ideal candidate will be comfortable caring for mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process, including triage, postpartum care, newborn care, and circulating C-sections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate C-sections.
- Provide immediate newborn assessment and care during the first hour after delivery.
- Perform postpartum couplet care for mother and baby.
- Titrate medications and drips according to facility protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with physicians, neonatal providers, anesthesia teams, and interdisciplinary staff.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Idaho or compact state RN License.
- 1+ year of experience as a RN Labor and Delivery.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- ACLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE Certification
