Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Nursing)

Location: Concord, Massachusetts, 01742

Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 36 hours, 3x12s, every other weekend, holidays required

Duration: 13 Weeks 

Job Description: 

Position Requirements:

• Massachusetts (MA) RN License — license application may be initiated once an offer is extended.
• Previous travel nursing and charge nurse experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
• Fetal monitoring certification required.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D), including triage and operating room (OR) responsibilities.

Unit Overview:

• 8-bed Labor & Delivery unit
• 6 triage beds
• 2 operating rooms (ORs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
• Manage and prioritize patients in the L&D, triage, and OR settings.
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring according to facility standards.
• Assist with deliveries and provide appropriate maternal and newborn care.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Serve as a charge nurse when assigned, coordinating patient flow, staffing, and clinical activities.
• Maintain patient safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with hospital policies and standards.
