Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a facility setting. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring safety and comfort for high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver quality maternal care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a labor and delivery setting, graduate of an accredited nursing program, current registered nurse license (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support certification, and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field, five (5) or more years of recent experience (within the last two (2) years) in labor and delivery, and high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years. High-risk obstetrics experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with a focus on maternal and neonatal health. The assignment is set to start on 09/07/2026 and conclude on 12/07/2026.
