Responsibilities
- Deliver care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, and families using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Assist obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesia, and the healthcare team in caring for patients.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
- Organize and achieve a high level of accuracy in daily work.
- Perform other general responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of labor and postpartum experience.
- 2 or more years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
- Active NH RN License required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Circulation experience required.
- Must be willing to care for GYN surgical and general post-op patients.
- Must be willing to work every 3rd weekend.
