Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in a high-risk obstetric care setting. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, including neonatal assessments and high-risk obstetric procedures. The position targets candidates with at least one year of experience and a valid state license, working nights with a 12-hour shift schedule. The assignment begins on 09/08/2026 and concludes on 03/09/2027, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week, including holiday coverage.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license (Compact license accepted), at least 1 year of labor and delivery experience, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS certifications, familiarity with Epic charting system, no experience required in previous labor roles
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating on cesarean sections, neonatal or postpartum care expertise, prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs and is within the scope of practice for travelers
  • Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to meet staffing needs by working holiday shifts and adhering to scheduled RTO requests within specified limits. Experience with high-risk obstetric procedures, neonatal assessments, and postpartum care is highly valued. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate is necessary for application. The assignment involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, physical therapy, and pharmacy services.
