Contract Details

• Location: Santa Maria, CA area
• Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (Days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
• Schedule: Rotating weekends & holidays per facility schedule
• Charting System: Altera Digital Health (formerly Allscripts) Sunrise platform

Facility & Practice Overview

• Regional Hub: Serving California's Central Coast with specialized perinatal and high-risk maternal-fetal care.
• Mandated Ratios: Strictly enforced per California Title 22 standards:
  • Active Labor: 1:2
  • 2nd Stage / High Acuity Complications: 1:1
  • Recovery / Postpartum: 1:2
• Clinical Scope: Triage, active labor management, circulating C-sections, high-risk fetal monitoring, and immediate post-recovery/NRP care.

Requirements & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3+ years of recent acute care L&D experience required.
• Licensure: Active California (CA) RN license required.
• Required Certifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring
