Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse – Night Shift
- Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
- Scheduling Policy: Scheduling preferences considered but not guaranteed; requests due to outside employment will not be considered. Block schedules are per manager discretion.
- Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend required; may exceed every other weekend to meet unit staffing needs.
- Floating Protocol [HARDSTOP]: Mandatory floating to Mother/Baby (Postpartum) unit as required.
Cancellation Policy: Facility reserves the right to call off up to 1 shift per 2-week pay period.
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of clinical L&D RN experience (1.5 years absolute hardstop; under 2 years considered based on candidate profile). First-time travelers accepted.
- Clinical Skill Mandates [HARDSTOP]:
- Must have expert experience performing Sterile Vaginal Exams (SVE) independently without supervision.
- Must have proven independent clinical expertise in Obstetrical Triage.
- EMR Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is required.
- Licensure Requirements: Active California State RN License in-hand at submission (pending licenses NOT accepted).
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification [HARDSTOP – Required for PASS designation].
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Dress Code: Facility provides scrubs for L&D / Operating Room.
