Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery Department, supporting both labor and postpartum patients. The position requires flexibility to float between units and includes on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, current certifications including ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP, with at least 0 years of experience. Experience in labor, postpartum, and NICU units preferred.
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
- Special Requirements: NICU or LDRP experience, ability to float between units, on-call availability when low censused, and the capacity to work every other weekend.
- Experience in labor, postpartum, and neonatal care is essential, along with charting experience using Epic.
- The candidate must be willing to provide references covering the last year during the compliance process and include RTO (request for time off) details at submission.
- Facility Details: Short Term Acute Care / Level III trauma center, supporting neonatal and obstetric patient populations.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be available for orientation and work the contracted schedule, with flexibility around RTO requests. Candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless prior arranged.
