Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery Postpartum (L&D PP) on the night shift at a facility located in Anaheim, California. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care for women in labor and postpartum periods, supporting maternal and neonatal health, and performing specialized clinical procedures. The position is ideal for a dedicated professional with relevant experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing.

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor, delivery, or postpartum nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification
- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring
- Demonstrated IV Skills and ability to perform lab draws
- Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin)
- Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of IStat utilization
- Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication administration including IV administration and maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights and radiant warmers
- Demonstrated ability to support gynecology teaching, post-operative bladder training, maternal-newborn teaching

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in nursing or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience
- Minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience
- Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience
Additional Information:
Candidates must be available to start on 08/24/2026. Flexibility in clinical skills and an ability to support maternal and neonatal patient education are essential.
