Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Los Angeles. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to patients undergoing childbirth and associated procedures, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The position includes supervising and coordinating care with a team of healthcare professionals during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift (12-hour shifts), minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor required; American Heart Association (AHA) certification preferred; experience in an acute care facility preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Essential Functions: Collects and analyzes relevant patient data, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates progress. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide safe, compassionate, and effective care. Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible and prepared to work night shifts lasting 12 hours. Certification in neonatal resuscitation and experience in labor and delivery are essential for success in this role. The assignment is scheduled from 09/14/2026 to 12/13/2026.
