• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Great Bend, Kansas
• Start Date: August 30, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call Requirement: 2-3 on-call shifts per month
• Holiday Requirement: Rotation as assigned

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Fetal monitoring class completed within the past 24 months
• Ability to float to Med-Surg as needed and care for pediatric patients
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as scheduled
• Travel nursing experience and Epic experience preferred
• Commitment to obtaining PALS prior to start if not already certified

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Assist with admissions, assessments, labor support, and postpartum recovery care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Support pediatric and Med-Surg overflow care when floating is required
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in Epic or assigned charting systems
• Promote a safe, efficient, and reassuring experience for patients and families
