Unit Information
The Labor & Delivery Unit provides comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum.
The department includes:
? 14 Labor & Delivery rooms
? OB Triage Unit
? OB Operating Rooms
? OB PACU
Frederick Health recently expanded with five brand-new Labor & Delivery rooms featuring state-of-the-art equipment and modern technology. Every space is designed with comfort, safety, and family-centered care in mind to create an exceptional birthing experience.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
OB Triage experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate is accepted but C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial contract start date
