Position Overview
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery (LDR / L&D; potential to float to Med-Surg/MS to take care of overflow and pediatric patients)
- Position Type: Contract
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Target Start Date: 08/30/2026 (or ASAP)
Shift: Nights (3x12 Hours, 18:45 – 07:15)
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of LDR experience required (3+ years in a rural hospital preferred; previous travel experience and EPIC charting are a plus).
- Licensure: Current RN license required.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP required; must have taken an intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring class within the past 24 months. Note: Candidates must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start.
Compliance & Facility Details
- Weekend & On-Call Requirements: Every other weekend required. Includes 2–3 on-call shifts per month.
- Holiday Requirements: Required in rotation.
- Facility Policies: Nicotine-free facility. Bi-weekly pay. Client is allowed to cancel up to 2 shifts per month due to low census with a minimum 2-hour notice (low-census time spent on-call at home is paid at the on-call rate; call-back work is paid at the call-back rate).
- Orientation & Credentials: Monday virtual orientation; credentials due 1 week prior to start.
