Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Winchester. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and newborn patients within a Level 1 Obstetrics department. The position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule with a weekly guaranteed minimum of 36 hours, accommodating weekend block scheduling and a 48-hour guarantee. The nurse will be responsible for managing well and high-risk obstetric patients, including those with pre-eclampsia and insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in TN, at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, able to manage high-risk patients (pre-eclampsia, IDDM)
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to handle high-risk obstetric cases, adaptable to changing patient census, fun and team-oriented personality
- Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must have required certifications (AWHONN, ACLS, BLS) prior to start date. Any candidate considered must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility location. The assignment duration is from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026.
