• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,220 - $2,340
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Options: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend Rotation: Up to every other weekend as needed
• Holiday Rotation: Required
• Call: None
• Floating: As needed to Post-Partum and Antepartum
• Charting System: EPIC
• Medication System: Pyxis

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Arkansas or compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Recent EPIC experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring preferred
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced obstetric and high-acuity patient care environment
• Must be comfortable floating to related women’s health units

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for high-risk OB, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn stabilization patients
• Circulate C-sections and support labor and delivery procedures
• Monitor and manage oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin infusions, and other medications per protocol
• Start IVs and draw labs for mothers and babies as needed
• Use fetal monitoring equipment and assist with maternal/fetal care interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Document accurately in EPIC and follow established unit workflows
• Support patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum transitions
• Float to Post-Partum and Antepartum units when needed
• Maintain a professional, compassionate approach while delivering high-quality care
