RN – Labor & Delivery | Massachusetts (MA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and identify changes in condition.
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate patterns.
- Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients as needed.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts RN license.
- Experience as an Labor & Delivery RN.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS and NRP certifications may be required/preferred.
- Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shifts.
- Strong knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Experience with emergency obstetric situations preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
