Labor & Delivery RN Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery or postpartum nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Postpartum nursing experience required
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Collaborate with providers and the clinical care team to support high-quality patient outcomes
• Document nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record using Epic
• Maintain a calm, professional approach in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through skilled, patient-centered nursing care
