Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience in obstetrics, maternity care, or women’s health preferred
• Ability to work day/night rotation, weekends, and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to complete required credentialing and onboarding items before the start date

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Support laboring patients through assessment, monitoring, and intervention as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, obstetric providers, and the care team to promote safe patient outcomes
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital standards for patient safety and care delivery
• Deliver coverage as scheduled on days and nights, including every other weekend and holiday
