  • Float: May float to L&D and NICU

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
  • Current active RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP certification required
  • Fetal monitoring experience required
  • Experience in both Labor & Delivery and NICU required
  • Strong background in postpartum care, baby care, and antepartum care, including antepartum monitoring
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced, team-based hospital environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience
  • Support antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patient care
  • Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to patient needs and changes in condition
  • Deliver safe, family-centered maternity care in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
  • Assist with newborn care and postpartum recovery support
  • Float as needed between L&D and NICU
  • Promote patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences
  • Maintain professional communication and contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary healthcare team
