Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. The RN will navigate complex obstetric situations, demonstrating proficiency in labor, triage, delivery, and postpartum protocols to support maternal and neonatal health.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan (MI) license, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification, 2+ years of OB/GYN experience in Labor and Delivery, proficiency in Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care including labor, triage, delivery, circulating, C-Sections, newborn care, postpartum care; stable employment history; Covid vaccination preferred with exemptions allowed; must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to working on the floor; own vehicle required; Michigan license active in Nursys or LARA; work history and skills checklist current within the past year; two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.

- Additional Information: The position requires adherence to facility dress code with provided scrubs. Call responsibilities are not scheduled; however, call-back, holiday, and overtime multipliers apply. The employee must include their perm address and all requested scheduling information at submission. No more than five days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted; all RTO requests must be included in profile at submission, as requests after offer may be rescinded.
