Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery High Risk Registered Nurse (RN) Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing specialized care in a high-risk obstetrics setting within a womens and childrens hospital. The role includes managing high-risk antepartum patients, supporting labor and delivery, and performing advanced procedures such as cesarean sections and magnesium drips. The RN will work night shifts, contributing to a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Nursing licensure in the state of Tennessee; American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification; minimum of 0 years of healthcare experience; residence within or willing to commute to Nashville, Tennessee
  • Preferred Qualifications: High-risk antepartum experience, labor and delivery experience, cesarean section experience, magnesium drip experience
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be capable of circulating for cesarean sections, have experience with magnesium infusions, and support both labor and delivery as well as gynecological procedures. Familiarity with documentation systems such as connect and expanse is required. The successful candidate will work three weekend shifts per schedule and adhere to unit-specific policies and dress code (navy blue, seal blue, or grey scrubs).
