Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in a community setting. The role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The position offers a daytime shift from 07:00 to 19:30, with potential floating to other units within the healthcare organization to meet operational needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Community healthcare setting
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher, minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and previous experience working in a hospital Labor and Delivery department.
- Additional Information: Agency staff do not have guaranteed hours and may be down staffed if the operational need is not present. Alternatively, agency staff may be reassigned to another shift later in the week or floated to other units or care sites within the healthcare system to maintain contracted hours. The initial assignment is scheduled to start on 08/16/2026 and will conclude on 11/14/2026.
