Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in a busy labor and delivery department within a prominent healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The position offers an opportunity to work with a highly engaged team of nurses, blending experienced and new staff members in a supportive environment.
Job Details:
- Location: 4600 Spotsylvania Parkway, Fredericksburg, Virginia, 22408
- Position Type: Full-time, night shift
- Shift Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS); Education: Current RN license; Experience: 1 year of relevant experience; No specific location requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Responsibilities include: Managing inductions, cesarean sections (C/S), spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD), and providing comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.
- Typical skill set: Most recruited for: travel RNs, local certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and sitters.
- Personality fit: Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are ideal.
- Dress Code: Scrubs are mandatory; OR scrubs on unit are required.
- Additional Information: Come work with a group of highly engaged nurses who are helping to grow the unit. The team features a great mix of new and experienced nurses.
