Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse position located in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing high-risk obstetric care for a large-volume, high-census facility with a diverse patient population. Candidates must have experience managing acute obstetric cases and be able to handle a census surge, including managing a fourth couplet. Travelers are eligible if they have at least two years of experience and can work a 12-hour shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, start date 09/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of obstetric experience, BLS and NRP certifications, valid compact license in hand at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Magnesium Sulfate therapy, EPIC electronic health record system, postpartum hemorrhage management, and high acuity postpartum care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required at designated campuses.
- Additional Information:
- Unit experiences include postpartum treatment following delivery with a focus on high-risk obstetric patients.
- Candidates must be flexible to work a minimum of three major holidays and adhere to specific scheduling and RTO requests upfront.
- Must include responses regarding prior experience at a Providence facility, references for last 3 years, and ability to float between facilities if needed.
- Travel compliance requirements include SSN, DOB, and RTO details.
- No call-in policy; communication devices will be supplied if needed.
