Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in a specialized diagnostic and interventional laboratory setting. This position involves providing nursing care within a multifaceted environment that includes diagnostic and interventional procedures for an array of cardiovascular and vascular diseases. The nurse will support services such as coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, peripheral artery disease, and more, ensuring quality patient care throughout the treatment process.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; Four 10-hour shifts alternating between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, and 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
- Required Qualifications: RN License; 2 years RN Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience; Cath and/or Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP lab) experience; moderate sedation experience; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC CUPID; Critical Care Certification; trauma course.
- On Call: Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday shifts; review frequency during interview; response time required within 30 minutes; minimum 7-10 days every 6 weeks.
- Additional Information: The Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Laboratory (CVDL) operates eleven procedure rooms specializing in diagnostic and interventional therapies including coronary and peripheral vascular conditions, adult congenital heart disease, and aortic disease. Prior employment with any organization within the healthcare provider system must be documented in the work history to verify rehire status. Candidates previous employed within the system must be gone for at least one full year before applying as a traveler.
