Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) specialty position located at a healthcare facility. This role involves working in a hospital or medical center setting with a focus on interventional vascular and IR procedures. The candidate will be responsible for providing care in a vascular lab environment, adhering to clinical protocols, and supporting patient recovery and pre-procedure processes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting; Skills specific to interventional vascular/IR lab; Valid drivers license; Certifications include BLS and ACLS (AHA); American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS required; State license in Iowa required; EMR experience with EPIC preferred; Work history must demonstrate at least 24 months of relevant IR lab experience; First-time travelers welcomed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center highly preferred; Pre/post operative/recovery experience.
- Additional Information:
- Call back: 1.5x multiplier with a 2-hour minimum
- Holiday staffing requirement: Contractor may be required to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
- 16 hours of NBO (Nebraska Board of Nursing) compliance
- EMR: EPICOT/Holiday 1.15x multiplier
- No on-call shifts; no weekend work
- Submission requires clinical interview pre-screening from a candidate with a 405 area code
- Position start date: 09/08/2026; end date: 12/08/2026
- Candidate must meet the minimum experience criteria and hold current certifications as specified.
