• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts with rotating start times
• Schedule: Approximately 4 shifts per week; days/afternoons rotation
• Call Requirement: 1 day per week plus every 3rd-4th weekend; on-call coverage includes weeknights and weekend coverage
• Additional Schedule Notes: Stay-late coverage may be needed 1-2 days per week based on department needs

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• At least 2-3 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam
• Experience circulating, sedating, and monitoring patients during procedures
• Must be willing to participate in call coverage and remain within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care throughout interventional radiology procedures
• Circulate, sedate, and monitor patients during IR and neuro-interventional cases
• Assist with a variety of procedures, including angiograms, venograms, thrombectomies, dialysis catheter placement, fistulagrams, biopsies, kyphoplasty, IVC filters, PICCs, embolizations, and more
• Support patient assessment, preparation, and recovery in collaboration with the procedural team
• Respond to call coverage needs and remain available for after-hours and weekend responsibilities
• Work closely with technologists and nursing staff to help maintain efficient workflow across two labs
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and positive outcomes in every procedure
