🏥 Travel RN – Intermediate Care (IMC) | 3+ Years Experience
📍 Location: Springfield, Massachusetts

We're seeking an experienced Intermediate Care (IMC) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, MA. Join a medical intermediate care unit providing care across medical-telemetry and medical step-down patients.
✅ Requirements
👩⚕️ 3+ years of IMC/Intermediate Care nursing experience
❤️ Current BLS Certification
🚑 ACLS required
🏥 Active Massachusetts RN License
🫁 Experience with trachs, vents, high-flow NC, BiPAP, and cardiac drips
📊 Strong telemetry experience required
📋 Must be comfortable floating between medical-telemetry and IMC
🚫 Must live outside the 90-mile radius from the facility
📌 Assignment Highlights
✔️ 13-week travel contract
☀️ Day shift – 12 hours
⏰ 36 hours per week
🏥 42-bed unit: 21 medical + 21 intermediate care beds
👩⚕️ IMC ratio: 1:3 | Medical ratio: 1:6
🚫 No on-call requirement
🎄 Holiday coverage required
🏥 EMR: Not specified
🔄 Floating may be required to other acute-care units
🩺 Patient Population
Experience caring for patients with pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, alcohol withdrawal, GI bleeding, sepsis, PE, UTI, and respiratory failure is highly relevant.
