Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Sonora, California. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients within a busy ICU setting. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate care activities, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and recovery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data; analyzes assessment information; develops and implements care plans; collaborates with the healthcare team; evaluates progress and outcomes; facilitates discharge planning; delegates duties; provides patient and family education; participates in operational duties as assigned
