Job Description:

The ICU Registered Nurse provides care for complex ICU patients, including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma. The nurse is expected to have experience with IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilator management, and strong critical thinking skills. Prior ICU experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, and trauma.
• Manage ventilators, proning, and telemetry.

Requirements:

• 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required.
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.
