Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU or critical care setting
• CT surgery experience required
• Experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices required
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) is required
• Ability to work weekend rotation every other weekend
• Availability for holiday coverage as assigned during winter holidays
• Must have been separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient condition, respond to clinical changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Care for patients requiring advanced cardiac and surgical support devices
• Float between the ICU and IMCU as needed
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
• Support weekend and holiday staffing needs according to the schedule
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on strong patient outcomes
