Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Location: Falmouth, MA
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Schedule: Rotating nights, weekends, and holidays
• Additional Note: May float to Med/Surg Tele units based on operational needs and low census

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Completion of CCHC Pharmacology exam
• Completion of CCHC Basic Arrhythmia exam
• Demonstrated skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Preferred: BSN, CCRN, TCAR, and de-escalation certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive ICU nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses in a high-acuity critical care setting
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation
• Develop and communicate plans of care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Serve as charge nurse when needed and provide clinical guidance to staff
• Support orientation, teaching, and ongoing staff education
• Uphold safety standards and blood/body fluid policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement and care evaluation initiatives
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care
