Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in intensive care unit (ICU) at a healthcare facility in Loma Linda, California. This position involves providing direct patient care within a fast-paced environment, utilizing clinical judgment and adherence to established professional standards. The nurse will work as part of a flexible integrated team, supporting various patient care departments as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, 1 year of ICU experience, California nursing licensure, current BLS and ACLS certifications, no float requirement.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional specialty certifications such as CCRN preferred.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include delegating tasks within scope of practice, demonstrating professionalism, fostering a cooperative work environment, and participating in on-call rotations if needed. The RN must meet all staffing and licensure requirements per organizational guidelines.
