What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: ICU experience; pediatric experience is preferred.
- License & Certifications: Active RN license and required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Returning Staff Rule: Must note in submission if the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield (previous employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission).
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Unit Details: 20-bed multi-service unit (MS/ICU/IMC/Peds).
- Patient Ratios: Med-Surg is 1:5 days / 1:6 nights; IMC is 1:4; ICU is 1:2; Peds is 1:3–4.
- Drips & Monitoring: Must titrate drips (Heparin, insulin, amiodarone, Cardizem, PCA fentanyl, Propofol, Norepi). Telemetry monitored by tele techs in Weston using GE ApexPro CH boxes; RNs must know how to read rhythm strips.
- Floating Requirements: In-house to ED, UC, and PACU as needed; interfacility floating to Park Falls and Weston.
