Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) nurse position located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing advanced patient care in a medical intensive care unit (MICU) setting with a focus on teamwork, adaptability, and positive attitude. The position requires working overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a duration starting from September 7, 2026, through December 7, 2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing, current RN licensure in Kansas, at least 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, experience traveling to large trauma facilities, Sono, IV, and CRRT skills.
- Additional Information: The unit has 26 beds with a staff of approximately 65, utilizing equipment such as CRRT and EMR Meditech / CPN. Typical procedures include moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork, coachability, adaptability, and maintain a positive attitude.
