Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a hospital setting. The nurse will deliver dedicated nursing care for critically ill patients, ensuring adherence to established care standards. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and applying critical thinking and clinical judgment to provide safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); at least 1 year of experience in an acute care facility; licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from approved vendors
- Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience is preferred but not required
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient health data; analyzes assessment information to determine diagnosis and care needs; develops and implements care plans; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members; evaluates patient outcomes; participates in discharge planning; delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members; provides patient education and support; performs other related duties as assigned.
- Additional Information: All associates are required to receive all mandatory vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. The organization participates in E-Verify.
