What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years of ICU/Progressive Care experience required.
- License & Certifications: Active Indiana RN license, BLS through AHA, and ACLS (AHA only) required. PALS and NIH Stroke Scale also noted.
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Job Duties & Procedures: Vents, progressive unit patients, overdose/suicide care, arterial lines, and general ICU care.
- Patient Ratios: Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3.
- Charting & Equipment: EPIC electronic charting, Omnicell, and Accucheck.
- Floating Requirements: Must float to Med-Surg when needed.
Facility Policies & Perks
- Local Rate Policy: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles, resulting in a 12% reduction of the regular bill rate.
- Call-Off Policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment.
- Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation; clinicians returning within 12 months are ineligible for NBO).
- Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs.
