Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) in Antigo, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized care in a dedicated ICU unit with two beds and the potential for two flex beds. The role requires flexibility to float to other locations within the organization and adherence to specific unit protocols. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, following established clinical standards and safety protocols.

Job Details

  • Position: ICU (Intensive Care Unit) RN
  • Shift: Rotating, 12-hour variable shifts
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 09/28/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC), 2+ years ICU experience, Epic charting experience, Associate Degree or Certificate (minimum education)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Additional Information:
    • The ICU unit has 2 beds with 2 flex beds available, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 as appropriate.
    • Must take med/surg patients occasionally if no NICU patients and high med-surg census.
    • May float to other nearby locations within the organization, such as Merrill, Medford, Stanley, and Wausau.
    • Scrubs can be any color; provided by the organization or can wear personal scrubs.
    • The position includes unbillable low census hours, with travelers able to be on call for such hours, which will count toward their minimum hours.
    • During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times, following the organization's policy.
