Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Located in a rural/suburban healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to facility protocols and standards. The assignment is scheduled to start on September 14, 2026, and end on December 14, 2026, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Nursing License; minimum 2 years of ICU experience; Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with vent management, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), arterial lines, CPAP equipment
- Float: Possible float to Medical Surgical department if ICU is closed for shift
- Additional Information:
- The unit has 1:6 patient ratios depending on patient condition
- Equipment includes ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), arterial lines, CPAP
- The role involves caring for patients with diagnoses such as DKA, STEMI, CVA, and respiratory failure
- Candidate must be willing to complete all screening requirements prior to start, including state and federal background checks and fingerprinting
