Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a high-acuity environment. This 8-week contract requires night shifts and staffing professionals capable of providing advanced critical care. The role involves utilizing a variety of sophisticated technology to deliver comprehensive patient care to neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state/district, ICU experience of at least 3 years, Cerner experience, graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN degree (highly desired).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, and other advanced critical care technology.
- Additional Information: The ICU provides multidisciplinary care for diverse patient populations, requiring nurses to perform a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory standards.
