Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in the West Valley area. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 13-bed ICU unit within a general medical-surgical setting. The position is available for an ASAP start date with a 13-week assignment duration. The RN will be responsible for collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, ability to start ASAP, and 0 years of experience in ICU setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The ICU unit typically manages central lines and intubation procedures. Teamwork is essential for success in this fast-paced environment. The unit operates with a team of 26 staff members, including 3 RN charge nurses per shift, and utilizes Meditech EMR for documentation. Staff will work every other weekend, with on-call availability if desired.
