Job Description:

The RN in the ICU will provide care to a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatrics, dealing with conditions such as sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, and more. The role involves critical thinking and managing advanced life support equipment. Candidates must adhere to the radius rule and fingernail policy, and pass an orientation exam.

Responsibilities:

• Titrate drips including sedation, paralytics, pressors, antihypertensives, heparin, and insulin
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Provide care for patients with neurosurgery, respiratory failure, and other serious conditions

Requirements:

• Current RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work every other weekend and as needed on holidays
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus
