Assignment Overview
Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU care, providing critical support to patients with acute medical needs in a combined medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac ICU setting. This position requires strong clinical skills and a collaborative mindset, ideal for a nurse with ICU experience looking to expand their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Level 2 Trauma Designation, Teaching Hospital
- Shift Details: 3x12 Nights (7p-7a)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients
- Administer medications and titrate drips
- Provide post-operative care to neuro and cardiac patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care
- Utilize advanced monitoring and life support equipment
Qualifications
Required:
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI (CPI offered if not currently certified)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU
- Proficient in ICU-specific skills such as arrhythmia monitoring, sedation, and CVP monitoring
Preferred:
- TNCC certified
- CCRN certification
