Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Department: 640A Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3×12-Hour Day Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 Hours/Week)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Active RN license
• AHA BLS (Required)
• AHA ACLS (Required)
• CCRN (Preferred)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (Preferred)

Unit Details

• General Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Cerner EMR

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to critically ill adult patients
• Monitor hemodynamic status, ventilators, and advanced life support equipment
• Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other critical therapies
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Cerner

Important Information

• No local candidates (must reside 50 miles from the facility).
• Travelers are expected to work the following holiday schedule:
  • 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day
  • 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
