Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit provides specialized care to patients with severe and life-threatening conditions. Responsible for delivering high-quality care and monitoring patients’ critical health needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
- Support and educate patients and their families on condition management.
- Float to other inpatient units as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of ICU experience.
- Active IL license, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience with Epic systems.
