Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• 2 years of ICU or closely related critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience documenting in Epic required
• Strong experience managing a 1:2 critical care assignment
• Ability to work nights and weekends as scheduled
• Must be comfortable supporting adult and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled critical care nursing to ICU patients with complex and changing clinical needs
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, and cardiac drips
• Perform central line, PICC line, arterial line, and port access and management
• Administer blood products, IV medications, and continuous sedation safely
• Support chest tube management, suctioning, and respiratory interventions
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and other critical clinical data
• Assist with stroke care, renal failure management, and multisystem organ dysfunction
• Maintain infection prevention and isolation precautions at all times
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
