Pride Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's In-home Hospice team in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
 

Position Details:

Location: Lake Charles, LA 70601

Patient Care Setting: In-Home Hospice

Coverage Area: Greater Lake Charles

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

On-Call/Weekend: None

Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits, from first patient to last patient. ($0.48/miles)

 

Traveller Pay package:

(Applicable only if your home location is more than 50 miles from Lake Charles, LA 70601)

 

Gross Pay: $61.15/Hour (Weekly: $2,446.00)

Take Home pay: $53.95/Hour (Weekly: $2,158.00)

Pay Structure:
Stipend: $1246.00/Week ($31.15/Hour)
W-2  Rate: $1200.00/Week ($30.00/Hour)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case manages an assigned group of hospice patients and coordinates their overall care.
  • Provide patient-centered nursing care while monitoring patient needs and progress.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
  • Complete required clinical documentation and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license.
  • Hospice nursing experience required.
  • HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience is an advantage.
  • Strong patient-centered approach with a positive, willing, and flexible attitude.

Local Pay: $50.00 to $55.00/hour (W-2) (if your home location is less than 50 miles from Lake Charles, LA 70601)
