Job Summary:
Endoscopy Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves providing intra-procedure phase patient care in the endoscopy lab setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in endoscopy procedures and demonstrate a strong focus on patient safety, assessment, and care delivery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: State RN license; BSN degree (highly desired); at least 2 years of endoscopy experience; certifications including NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS; proven travel experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have fulfilled the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include administering age-appropriate care, initial and ongoing patient assessments, and timely completion of admission assessments. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of endoscopy experience, with expertise in intra-procedure patient care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
