Job Summary:
Electro Physiology Laboratory (EP LAB) specialists are sought for a healthcare organization in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves performing a variety of cardiac procedures within a high-acuity Cath Lab environment. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing program renowned for advanced cardiac modalities and state-of-the-art technology.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Technologists with RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification; RN license for registered nurses. Both should hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as PCI, ECMO, TAVR, and complex PCI.
- Procedures performed on unit: Diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures including PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, CTO, Shockwave, Pernumbra; EP studies, pacemakers, ICDs, ablations (excluding cryo ablations), Micra pacemakers, loop recorders, lead extractions, including laser lead extractions.
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, at least 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: The unit features cutting-edge equipment such as GE and Philips X-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, and Merge Hemo documentation systems. Floating policy includes float to prep and recovery areas only. The organization is recognized as one of Tennessee's top cardiac programs, offering extensive experience with all cardiac modalities except transplant, and has been awarded for ethical practices.
