Job Summary
Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) Seattle, WA. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity for an experienced RN specialized in electrophysiology laboratories to contribute to a heart and vascular clinic. The position involves providing patient care, supporting electrophysiology procedures, and participating in quality improvement initiatives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, starting from 09/08/2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, experience charting in EPIC, and familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology procedures, medication administration including antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives, and professional skills such as electrophysiology lab procedures, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and patient education.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GLP-1 therapies in atrial fibrillation management, risk factor modification clinics, device clinics, and strong patient engagement skills focusing on lifestyle and medication adherence.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Performing and assisting with arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, insertion and programming of AICDs, LAA closure, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal, and Watchman procedures.
- Unit Details: Located in a heart and vascular clinic, utilizing EPIC electronic health record system.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be prepared to work with a general cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology, and heart failure patient population, with support for interpretation services, phlebotomy, and unit secretarial duties.
